This book Exploring Literature and Grammar (Oral Communication in Context) aims to guide students in "the development of listening and speaking skills and strategies for effective communication in various situations."
The theme cinematic experience has been used as a metaphor in the process of studying the course. In a sense, OCC focuses on listening and speaking skills which hopes to empower senior high school students to become effective communicators in any context, platform, or stage. Hence, the students are likened to movie stars who must deliver impeccable performances for their real-life audiences. By the end of the semester, the students must have blossomed into box office talents oozing with effective communication skills and self-confidence that will carry them throughout their whole life.
For each lesson, terms and concepts related to cinematic experience have been used to identify the elements.
