GUIDE TO QUALITATIVE RESEARCH WRITING (Research 1) has been prepared to be used for Practical Research 1, an applied subject in the Senior High School. The primary objective of this course is to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through qualitative research.
This book has been divided into four units:
Unit 1: Qualitative Research and Its Importance in Daily Life
Unit 2: Developing the Inquiry and Reviewing Related Literature
Unit 3: Qualitative Design, Data Collection, and Analysis
Unit 4: Finalizing the Research Paper
Each unit consists of lessons which are pertinent to the understanding of the basics of qualitative research writing. In-depth discussions, authentic examples, and developmental activities are provided in order that the learners will fully grasp the concepts needed to complete a qualitative research study.
It is aimed that this textbook will serve as a guide for the learners as they journey through qualitative research writing. At the end of the semester, it is expected that they will be able to complete a successful research output as a prerequisite requirement of the course.
It is hoped further that the users of this textbook will be able to maximize their fullest potentials as they go through the entire research writing process, and may this provide an avenue for developing a new breed of researchers for this generation.
