The objective of the study is to determine the feasibility of establishing a
Flavored Lambanog business at West Poblacion, Bacong, Negros Oriental.
Specifically, this study aimed to determine the following areas: the marketing
feasibility of the proposed project, the technical feasibility of the proposed project,
the financial viability of the proposed project, the appropriate management
structure and the socio-economic practicality and the acceptability of the
proposed project. The project's name is UNICO Flavored Lambanog.
The study made use of survey questionnaire as an instrument in gathering
and collecting data. A total of 377 respondents from the five barangays in
Bacong, Negros Oriental were chosen as respondents using the easy sampling
method of collecting data.
The study showed that the proposed project is feasible from the
marketing, management, technical, financial and socio-economic point of view.
The proposed project is marketable since most of the respondents are willing to
patronize the business. It is technically feasible since the resources are readily
available. The business structure is composed of 10 employees. It is financially
feasible because it showed profit in the financial analysis and evaluation within
the five years payback period from the start of the operation of the business.
Lastly, the business will generate employment within Bacong, Negros Oriental
and especially those "mangagarit". The business will also meet the needs and
wants of the customers specifically their expectations.
