Summary: ABSTRACT The study is geared towards determining the effect of certain Human Resource Management Practices on perceived perceived employee participation. The research environment is Dumaguete city but is focused on business process outsourcing companies in the city, specifically, Qualfon, SPi Global and Teletech. Three hundred eighty four (384) respondents are made to answer the research designed questionnaire. The study reveals that certain Human Resource Management practices such as staff development, performance appraisal, career development, employee participation, job definition, compensation, recruitment, selection and work-life balance strongly afects employee performance and productivity.

ABSTRACT
The study is geared towards determining the effect of certain Human Resource
Management Practices on perceived
