Summary: A study sought to identify and describe the extent of the students' language anxiety, towards the subject and motivation that can affect the English competency level of Senior High School Students in the Division of Dumaguete City; reveals that majority of the Senior High School Students are 15 years old, female and have monthly income below P4000 and also found out that the students extent of language anxiety, attitude towards the subject and motivation were rated as "moderate", "positive" and "very high respectively".
