This study examined the extent of students' interest in science and its relationship to their academic performance. Using a descriptive-correlational research design, data were gathered to determine whether a significant relationship exists between students' level of interest and their achievement in science. Findings of the study served as the basis for proposing a faculty training program aimed at improving instructional strategies and enhancing student engagement in science classes.
