A humble response to the need for instructional materials for the teaching professions, a three-unit course of the new teacher education curriculum, attempts to give the prospective professional teacher a comprehensive view of his/her multifarious task to enable him/her males on informed decision on whether or not he/she pursues teaching as a profession or give it up for more lucrative one and aligns with the National Competency-Based Teachers Standards (NCBTS), the standard of good teaching in the Philippine consisting of seven (7) integrated domains, twenty-one (21) strands and eighty (80) performance indicators with the end in view of contributing to the formation of competent and committed professional teachers, updates the readers on educational legislative including the universalizes of kindergarten.
