Aims to determine the effectiveness of self-made module in learning the sight selected topics in Algebra. The respondents of this study are the grade-7 students of Banban National High School during the school year 2020-2021, who are from Barangays Banban, Pili, Luyang, Tacloban and Olo. The researcher utilized the descriptive correlation method of research and employed validated self-made module to determine the pretest and posttest performances of the students and compared it with their first grading performance. The statistical tools used in this study are percent, mean, t-test for dependent data, and Person product-moment coefficient of correlation. The study revealed that there was an increase of performance after the students used the self-made module. It was also found out that overall first grading performance of the students in very satisfactory level. Furthermore, there is significant relationship between the performance of the students in the different evaluations found in the self-made module and their first grading performance. --Abstract
